Why this is listed

Surfaced through Reality LA (Los Angeles, CA), a vetted partner church, during Grain’s city-by-city review. Still to be confirmed: EIN and Form 990, tradition, and doctrinal statement.

How to start

  1. Open olivecrest.org (opens an external site) and read what Olive Crest says about itself before you read anything else.
  2. Check the time it asks for: ongoing.
  3. Look at the filings below, then decide. Numbers are context, not a verdict.
  4. Tell your church. Going out is rarely meant to be done alone.

    The Prince of Egypt

    DreamWorks Animation

The Exodus story told as animation, following Moses from the Nile basket to the parting of the sea. The plagues and the final night in Egypt are played with real weight rather than softened, and the score carries much of the storytelling.

Computer-animated vegetables retell Bible stories and original fables, with a silly song in the middle and a moral at the end. It ran for decades in several forms and is the default Christian children's video in a great many homes.
