Daily Dose of Greek
Daily Dose of Greek
A two-minute video every weekday in which Rob Plummer works through one verse of the Greek New Testament, parsing as he goes. The site also carries free full-length grammar lecture series for people starting from the alphabet.
Why this is listed
Greek is lost after seminary because nobody keeps touching it. Two minutes a day is small enough to survive a bad week, and that is the entire reason this exists and the reason it is on the list ahead of better-produced courses.
How to start
- Open dailydoseofgreek.com (opens an external site) and read what Daily Dose of Greek says about itself before you read anything else.
- Confirm the cost and level fit: free, intermediate, over weekly rhythm.
- Note the tradition — Baptist. It will shape what you are taught, and that is worth knowing going in.
- Put the first session in your calendar now. The gap between reading about study and doing it is a calendar entry.
