Bible Study Fellowship International

Bible Study Fellowship

A weekly, year-long study of one book of the Bible, run in local classes and online groups worldwide. Each week you answer written questions on the passage before you arrive, discuss them in a small group, hear a lecture, and take home printed notes.

Why this is listed

Most study programmes ask you to watch something. This one makes you write answers before anyone talks, which is why people who go through it can still handle a passage on their own years later. The homework is the point, and it is the reason we list it over the many easier options.

How to start

  1. Open bsfinternational.org (opens an external site) and read what Bible Study Fellowship International says about itself before you read anything else.
  2. Confirm the cost and level fit: free, introductory, over weekly rhythm.
  3. Note the tradition — Interdenominational. It will shape what you are taught, and that is worth knowing going in.
  4. Put the first session in your calendar now. The gap between reading about study and doing it is a calendar entry.
