Why this is listed

The free children’s counterpart to the Bible App a family may already use, and it tells actual Bible narratives rather than a moral-of-the-story cartoon, at a tap-and-listen level a pre-reader can handle on a lap or alone. Listed for households wanting a first, calm way into the stories themselves.

How to start

  1. Open bibleappforkids.com (opens an external site) and read what Life.Church (YouVersion) says about itself before you read anything else.
  2. Confirm the cost and level fit: free, introductory, over ongoing.
  3. Note the tradition — Non-denominational. It will shape what you are taught, and that is worth knowing going in.
  4. Put the first session in your calendar now. The gap between reading about study and doing it is a calendar entry.
