Why this is listed

Fifty-two questions instead of Westminster’s hundred-plus is the whole design decision, and it is the reason families finish this one. The paired child and adult answers mean a household is not running two curricula at once.

How to start

  1. Open newcitycatechism.com (opens an external site) and read what The Gospel Coalition says about itself before you read anything else.
  2. Confirm the cost and level fit: free, introductory, over weekly rhythm.
  3. Note the tradition — Reformed. It will shape what you are taught, and that is worth knowing going in.
  4. Put the first session in your calendar now. The gap between reading about study and doing it is a calendar entry.
