Dallas Theological Seminary

Dallas Theological Seminary — Graduate Certificate of Christian Studies

A short, customisable graduate credential in Bible and theology, taken fully online, on the Dallas campus, or at an extension site. The credits transfer into a DTS master’s degree if you decide to keep going.

Why this is listed

The honest way to test whether you want seminary before committing four years and the money. Because the credits count toward a DTS master’s, a term spent here is not wasted whichever way you decide — which is not true of most taster programmes.

How to start

  1. Open dts.edu (opens an external site) and read what Dallas Theological Seminary says about itself before you read anything else.
  2. Confirm the cost and level fit: paid, graduate, over months.
  3. Note the tradition — Broadly evangelical. It will shape what you are taught, and that is worth knowing going in.
  4. Put the first session in your calendar now. The gap between reading about study and doing it is a calendar entry.
